Loved the location to the pub downstairs.

Thanks everyone for a really good stay in September. The location was perfect, in a great location to explore the surrounding attractions and the interior design was modern. Moreover, it's near to the bar and restaurant areas. The hotel was impeccably clean with very helpful staff.

The room was clean and cozy, though the bathroom lacked toiletries.

Accommodating staff interactions. Brilliant location short walk to a car show and Whitby, and good service. Also, in a quiet village.

Great hotel with great wi-fi, a lovely restaurant, and a tv. The staff once helped us plan our evening, a nice experience. I recommend it for a relaxing stay. I'm returning for a city trip!

Great Local Gem with Tasty Cuisine

The menu offered a mouthwatering à la carte selection, and each dish we ordered impressed us with its presentation and flavor. Friendly staff and a warm atmosphere made it a nice evening. Definitely recommend arriving early for a good spot!

Initially quoted a flat rate turned into a nightly fee. Noise from the pub downstairs disrupted relaxation, especially during late evening hours. The decor struck me as a bit dated, lacking the warmth that could make the space more inviting.

Would recommend for a transient visit

Spacious suite, comfortable amenities, where our room had a tv and an electric kettle, making our overnight stay very pleasant before heading to Humberside Airport for our next journey.

Loved the huge portions for Sunday lunch and the takeaway option was a lifesaver with the kids.

The Star Inn reminded me of a warm and inviting home with its tasteful decor, with roaring log burners and cozy seating areas, making it accessible and comfortable for seniors like myself.

Breakfast was a standout, offering generous portions and catering inclusively for dietary needs, including dairy-free options. A lovely touch was the chef preparing sausages for our dog. The quiz night led to slower service during dinner, and while our food was good, the long wait for our meals was noticeable. Despite this, the vibrant atmosphere and attentive staff enhanced our visit significantly.
